Our client is a leading energy company seeking an experienced IT Project/Program Manager to join their cybersecurity transformation initiative. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact projects that directly support business objectives while working with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will bring 6-10 years of project management experience and a proven track record of delivering complex IT solutions on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for cybersecurity initiatives
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead diverse teams to deliver IT solutions that meet business requirements and organizational goals
  • Progress Management: Monitor project milestones, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule adherence
  • Team Coordination: Provide strategic direction and leadership to project teams, contractors, and consultants
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain transparent communication with leadership regarding project status, risks, and key milestones
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control processes throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks using industry best practices

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of IT project management experience, preferably in cybersecurity or enterprise technology
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred
  • Strong experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Monday.com, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex technical environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and IT governance practices
