Senior Quality Engineer - Financial Services

Contract Position | 6 Months W-2 contract

We're seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join their innovative team and drive end-to-end quality assurance for mission-critical financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, test, and deliver technology solutions while implementing comprehensive software quality assurance strategies
  • Develop, maintain, and execute both automated and manual test scripts for complex financial systems
  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to execute test scripts on schedule
  • Collaborate across teams to validate end-to-end flows in multi-system environments
  • Document, track, and resolve software defects in collaboration with product delivery teams
  • Ensure quality is integrated throughout the software development lifecycle through peer reviews and QA processes
  • Develop and communicate software quality measures reporting on reliability, compliance, performance, and security
  • Partner closely with delivery teams to align QA services with product delivery approaches

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in financial services
  • Strong experience with automated testing frameworks and tools
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies
  • Knowledge of financial systems and payment processing workflows
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
