Senior Quality Engineer - Financial Services

Contract Position | 6 Months W-2 contract

Overview

Our client is a leading financial services organization that delivers critical payment services and solutions to financial institutions across the United States. We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive end-to-end quality assurance through close collaboration with developers, product owners, and key stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products in the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, test, and deliver technology solutions while implementing comprehensive software quality assurance strategies
• Develop, maintain, and execute both automated and manual test scripts
• Assist in building CI/CD pipelines to execute test scripts on schedule
• Work across teams to validate end-to-end flows and ensure seamless integration
• Document, track, and resolve software defects in collaboration with product delivery teams
• Ensure quality is built into software solutions throughout the development lifecycle
• Develop and communicate software quality measures reporting reliability, compliance, performance, and security
• Collaborate closely with delivery partners to align QA services with product delivery approaches

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in software quality engineering, preferably in financial services
• Strong expertise in both automated and manual testing methodologies
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline development and test automation frameworks
• Proficiency in defect tracking and quality assurance tools
• Knowledge of software quality metrics and reporting
• Experience with end-to-end testing and cross-functional collaboration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
