Overview

Our client is a leading energy company seeking an experienced Lead Nuclear Electrical Engineer to join their nuclear operations team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned engineering professional to lead complex nuclear projects and provide technical expertise in a critical infrastructure environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide advanced technical expertise in support of nuclear plant operations
Lead large-scale nuclear engineering projects with minimal supervision
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and facilitate problem-solving initiatives
Perform specialized electrical/I&C engineering functions including power systems analysis
Apply nuclear industry standards and regulations to novel situations
Utilize computational tools such as ETAP and EDISON for power system analysis
Develop ladder logic and conduct safe shutdown analysis
Resolve high-level technical conflicts and provide backup supervision
Act as technical consultant to management and engineering teams

Requirements

Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (PE license preferred, may substitute for degree)
Experience: 15+ years of nuclear engineering or related experience
Extensive expertise in nuclear plant operations and engineering project management
Proficiency with power systems, electrical analysis, and nuclear safety systems
Experience with ETAP, EDISON, or similar computational tools
Strong leadership and team management capabilities
Excellent conflict resolution and communication skills
Ability to work independently on complex, precedent-setting projects
